In order to use the NXT 2.0 colour sensor you'll need to make sure of one thing: you absolutely need at least ROBOTC 2.26.1 for NXT, anything less simply won't work. RobotC does not have an advantage over EV3 for FLL competition, however it does have a huge advantage when it comes to teaching basic programming when used in conjuction with Robot Virtual Worlds. Using virtual robots, everyone with a laptop can run their robot where they sit, limiting movement and saving time.

We need to tell ROBOTC that we are using the Parallax BOE Shield, and that we have the drive servos connected to pins 10 and 11.
